YASA's relation with Artists
As youth are the most vulnerable category in road collisions, YASA has sent messages to youth on many occasions, and in collaboration with young artists through songs to attract them to the safe driving. Among the artists who collaborated with YASA, we cite, George alrassi, Fadi Ondaros and Elie Ayoub. On the occasion of Mother's Day in 2017, YASA, in collaboration with young people enthusiastic about the issue of road safety, launched an awareness song entitled "Think, Appreciate." This song was the idea of Joyce Atallah , Composed by Roney Harb ,distributed by Sassine Abi Khalil and was sung by Julian Issa. This song was launched by YASA through various activities in schools and universities and by media organizations.
YASA also cooperated with the artists through awareness campaigns on social networks, encouraging them to disseminate the culture of road safety. As it is always in contact with them not to publish things that encourage inattention on the roads or to unaccountable behavior like the artist Nawal Al Zoghbi, who published a photo about the seatbelt, on June 16, 2017, in violation of the traffic law. Following this publication, YASA asked Ms. Nawal Al Zoghbi to remove this photo. YASA also took the opportunity to invite artists to be models for their fans in the application of the traffic law.
YASA calls on all Lebanese and Arab artists to take the role of models in the enforcement of traffic law as artists in the developed countries who have participated in the major efforts leading to the reduction of the number of road victims.
