YASA participated in Road Safety Day in LAU Byblos
YASA participated in the exhibition Organized by the Lebanese American University-LAU in Byblos - Jbeil under the title “Road Safety Day” on Monday June 4. Participants from YASA were Joseph Ballan, Charbel Allam and Joseph Krim. The exhibition aimed at informing university students about the importance of Road safety.

YASA gave a lecture to motorcyclists of the Internal Security Forces
Since YASA cooperation with the I.S.F is over 9 years, YASA volunteered to lecture to thirty four motorcyclists about Road safety on May 29, 2007 in the I.S.F institute in Warwar.
Hani Koubeissi, manager of YASA driver improvement program, and Joseph Ballan stressed on the fundamentals of safe motorcycle riding in addition to the importance of good relationship between the citizen and the policeman.
The sixth National conference for Road Safety
20 April 2007 — Unesco Palace, Beirut, Lebanon
Under the patronage of Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Saniora represented by Minister of Interior and Municipalities Hassan Al Sabeh, YASA organized this National event for Road safety on the occasion of the First United Nations week for Road Safety with wide participation from public and private sectors in Lebanon, and with the participation of selected guests from the Arab region.
The conference was attended by interior minister Hassan Sabaa, deputies Pierre Daccache and Mohammad Kabbani, the head of the council of development and reconstruction, Nabil Jisr, and ISF chief Ashraf Rifi.
The President of YASA Lebanon, Mona Akl, assured that the organization will continue in its efforts in promoting public safety. For this reason YASA will open three new branches in Lebanon, in Zouk Mosbeh, Alma chaab and Hamra. The organization is also planning to revamp its web site. In addition “YASA en movement” book will be launched.
